Monocle Minute

Recent reports by forecasting firms, including US-based consultants Bain & Co, say that people expect to buy fewer clothes in the wake of the crisis (though not necessarily to spend less money), while a survey by streetwear site Highsnobiety revealed that respondents are keen to embrace “silent” fashion (clothes without flashy logos) and are frowning on conspicuous consumption.

I wonder if this be the case for technology e.g. ‘silent’ technology where there is less desire to display the latest airpods or device. I love these e-mail newsletters that are self contained and don’t have links to their website or adverts – a refreshing change. Who else reads this?
