It’s ok to do nothing sometimes

I’ve had periods of time where I didn’t (or couldn’t) do anything that felt productive. Sometimes it was mandated like extended sick leave or maternity leave. Other times it was a kind of writers block or just not feeling motivated. It’s normal and it’s healthy. If you’re doing a creative job, it’s even encouraged. Don’t feel bad about it, embrace it and get yourself ready for when the busy times resume.
